Event Details
Young Culture is a dynamic three-piece alternative rock band from Albany, New York, formed in 2016. Comprising childhood friends Alex Magnan (vocals), Gabe Pietrafesa (guitar), and Troy Burchett (guitar), the band creates energetic, feel-good music that captures the essence of youth. Known for their relatable lyrics exploring themes of relationships, self-discovery, and personal growth, Young Culture has carved a niche in the alternative music scene with a blend of catchy melodies and heartfelt storytelling.
Over the years, Young Culture has built a dedicated following through their sincere, emotive songwriting and engaging live performances. Their 2020 self-titled debut LP showcased a diverse range of sounds, which they refined in their 2021 EP Godspeed — a collection of cohesive, upbeat tracks inspired during pandemic sessions that emphasize love, positivity, and connection. Recorded with a DIY ethic and produced by close collaborators including Derek DiScanio of State Champs, Godspeed highlights the band’s evolution towards a polished, vibrant pop-rock sound resonating with fans old and new.
With a growing catalog of popular songs such as “Kinda Over It,” “Hum,” and “Drift,” Young Culture continues to make an impact in the music world through their authenticity and infectious energy. Their music invites listeners to experience the joys, struggles, and optimism of youth, making them a rising force in contemporary alternative rock.
This band is primed to bring uplifting vibes and heartfelt emotion to stages nationwide as they continue their journey of musical growth and connection.
