Event Details
Sensamotion is a reggae/dub ensemble hailing from Atlantic City, New Jersey, blending roots tradition with fresh, modern originality. Formed nearly 16 years ago by a group of friends united by a passion for music, the band has grown into a powerful voice in American reggae. Their sound is inspired by pioneers like Groundation and Midnite, yet uniquely their own—uplifting, mindful, and spiritually resonant.
With a reputation built on touring the East Coast and beyond, Sensamotion has shared stages with leading acts in the reggae scene while steadily expanding their fanbase. Their acclaimed album Life in True Color showcased thoughtful songwriting and emotional depth, earning praise across the reggae community. In 2025, the band released their sophomore record Feel It All Around, featuring collaborations with artists such as Stick Figure and The Hip Abduction, further cementing their place in the genre’s evolving landscape.
Led by Art Rivell (vocals/guitar), alongside Dylan Farina (bass) and Mike Crosson (drums), Sensamotion continues to evolve with dynamic arrangements, including a horn section that adds richness to their live performances. Their music invites listeners into a space of positivity, awareness, and unity—an authentic reflection of reggae’s timeless spirit.
For fans of conscious reggae and dub, Sensamotion delivers a sound that is both rooted and forward-looking, making them one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the East Coast reggae scene.
