MURPHY'S LAW

Murphy's Law is an influential hardcore punk band from New York City, formed in 1982. The band has been a staple of the NYHC (New York Hardcore) scene, known for their energetic performances and party-friendly attitude. Their music blends hardcore punk, skate punk, and crossover thrash, with occasional experiments in ska.

The band's lineup has changed frequently over the years, with Jimmy Drescher (also known as Jimmy G) being the only consistent member. Murphy's Law has shared the stage with a variety of artists across different genres, including Danzig, Agnostic Front, Fishbone, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. They have released five albums, with their last one, The Party's Over, coming out in 2001.
