MALIGNANCY

Malignancy is an American technical death metal band from Yonkers, New York, formed in February 1992. The band was founded by vocalist Danny Nelson and guitarist Javier Velez. Over the years, Malignancy has undergone multiple lineup changes and released several demos before securing a deal with United Guttural Records in 1998. Their first album, Intrauterine Cannibalism, was released in early 1999.

Malignancy is known for its brutal and technical death metal style, often incorporating themes of gore, disease, pathology, and humanity. The band has released multiple albums, including Inhuman Grotesqueries (2007) and Eugenics (2012), which was their first concept album exploring the evolution and devolution of society in the future. Their latest known release is Intrauterine Cannibalism (2019).
