THE DIRTY NIL

The Dirty Nil is a Canadian rock band formed in 2006 in Hamilton, Ontario. The band consists of singer and guitarist Luke Bentham, drummer Kyle Fisher, and bassist Sam Tomlinson. Known for their energetic blend of punk rock, alternative rock, and hard rock, The Dirty Nil has made a significant impact on the music scene.

The band first gained attention with their debut single “Fuckin’ Up Young” in 2011, which set the stage for their relentless touring across North America. Their debut full-length album, Higher Power, was released in 2016, followed by a compilation of early singles and EP tracks titled Minimum R&B in 2017. Their second studio album, Master Volume, came out in 2018, showcasing their ability to blend raw punk energy with polished rock production.

In 2021, The Dirty Nil released their third album, Fuck Art, which continued to build on their reputation for high-energy performances and catchy, rebellious anthems. Their latest album, Free Rein to Passions, was released in 2023 and has been praised for balancing humor and vulnerability.

The Dirty Nil’s music is characterized by swaggering riffs, powerful vocals, and a dynamic stage presence. Despite their punk roots, the band prefers to define themselves simply as a rock band, embracing a broad range of influences and styles.
