Sworn Enemy is a metalcore band from Queens, New York, known for their aggressive fusion of hardcore punk, thrash metal, and tough-guy hardcore. Formed in 1997, they emerged from the vibrant New York hardcore (NYHC) scene, originally under the names Downfall and later Mindset, before settling on Sworn Enemy.
