The Four Horsemen – The Ultimate Tribute to Metallica is the only studio-quality Metallica tribute in the country. The band embraces the ‘No Life Til Leather’ attitude that made Metallica the Monsters of Metal during the 80’s. They rip through the Bay Area Thrasher catalog with precision and unmatched energy throughout the Midwestern, North and South Eastern United States. The Four Horsemen deliver the ferocity of old school Metallica the way you heard it on the record and the way you saw it in concert back in the 80’s. They focus on the first 5 releases of Metallica – what they like to call the “Black & Back” days. The Four Horsemen have performed for tens of thousands of people since 2004 and are constantly adding new cities to their schedule. They give every crowd that arena experience - playing the songs you know and love from the top metal band of all time. Sean Perry embodies the guttural vocals and head-banging thrash energy of a young James Hetfield with the wit and sarcasm that made James infamous and an instant standout of the times with the no-frills approach, covering all the hits and deep cuts from 1982's "Kill ‘Em All," to 1991's over 16x Platinum "Black Album” – one of the most sought after albums to date. The band performs an extensive amount of songs from this release as a result. Mikey Kaufman is a guitar prodigy and effortlessly nails Kirk Hammett’s solos and brings a ton of head-banging and
charm to the stage as he is always interacting with the crowd with a huge smile. In short, he’s an incredible guitarist with skills very few can match, but one of the most humble and friendly guys you could meet. His love for recreating the exact sounds of those killer solos shows in his playing and energy. Matt Adkins holds down the tremendous task of filling Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted’s shoes and you can instantly hear that he is up for the challenge when he’s playing. His technique and not only attention to his playing but also the actual tones that the 2 very different bassists used is immediately inherent as you experience the songs and hear the
clarity and familiar roar of Cliff Burton’s wah throughout the various songs – something no other Metallica tribute even thinks of doing on stage, it’s easy to see Matt has a love for the finer attention to detail when it comes to recreating the
thundering bass lines of Metallica. Drew Pencook is an Emmy Award Winning Drummer. His life of drumming has brought multiple national drum competition trophies, festival appearances of him drumming on his own, 7 albums to his credit and national touring with Drenalin. He has more than 80 commercials in rotation and before all of these accolades he was in a heavy metal cover band with Sean years earlier. Drew joined forces with Sean on this project after seeing how successful and huge it was becoming. He loves Lars Ulrich’s unique style and says it’s harder for him to play Lars than it is for him to play Dream Theater – but that’s what drives Drew – Perfection. Every hit, every fill, all the double bass – it all has to be there or he is not happy. Drew was the last piece to embrace the role the way it needed to be done. The Four Horsemen are indeed the Ultimate tribute to Metallica. A stand out that is instantly obvious when you see their show. They are always developing, looking for ways to add to their stage show energy and expand their reach to new areas. They obsess over the finer details of the songs and bring a large amount of production equipment with them to give the crowd a visual presentation that is in step with many national acts. When you see The Four Horsemen’s stage set up, you know you’re in for one hell of a show. The band has the talent, the raw energy, and drive to make any theater, ballroom, casino, festival or special event a huge success.
